The Chief Scouts Award is the highest award within a section and we like to make sure that when a young person achieves this that it is recognised by the District and given the ceremony that the occasion deserves.
We like to send a member of the District Team to the unit meeting night or another special event such as an activity or AGM to present the badge. After this, Bronze and Silver Award holders and their parents will be invited to a special District Awards Presentation where they will receive a certificate from the District. Gold, Platinum, Diamond and The Kings Scout Awards are all invited to a special County Presentation.
We hold a supply of CSA badges at District and it is preferred that Groups do not hold their own supplies so that we can make sure all young people get the special recognition that they deserve. Please do give us as much notice as you can for presentations to give us the best chance to plan our diaries.
